Custom Ordering

         Take a look at my pricing page to get an idea of where the BASE pricing starts. If what you're wanting to order isn't there, send me an email at crawfordleatherco@yahoo.com to get a quote started! If you already have an idea of what you want for designs, colors and any patterns or brands, that will help me get the best quote ready for you! 

        

        For all tack & dog items, there are a few general things I will need to know right away! Including 1) style & shape, 2) leather color(s) 3) tooling patterns  4) if specialty hardware is needed (this is due to all handmade hardware is made to order with 8-10 weeks turnaround), 5) crystal colors (if needed). 

Payment Process

      Once we have every single little design detail together, I will email you an invoice with everything listed. Please READ the details on your invoice. If there is anything that isn't right, YOU are responsible for telling me BEFORE PAYING, so that the invoice shows exactly how your item(s) are to be made by me. If you don't notice and correct the mistake and I make your item(s) with an incorrect detail, I will NOT be responsible for the correction. This is very specific to measurements, tooling, colors, names, etc. The quote I give to you before sending the invoice will be good for 2 weeks only, after that due to supply costs, the quote is also subject to change. Your invoice must be paid either in full or with a 60% down payment (minimum $100 order) within 48 hours, otherwise the order will be cancelled. This is to solidify your place in my queue and the turnaround time given as well. My typical turn around time from January - October is 6-8 weeks, increasing to 12 weeks around the holidays, for Christmastime, I recommend getting your orders in as soon as you can!.
 
Shipping
       When I send you your invoice via email, you are responsible for double checking to make sure the address you have provided me is correct! I will send you a tracking number when shipped, and unfortunately, I will not be responsible for any lost/damaged packages after they ship from my shop. If there is a specific carrier you would like your order shipped with such as UPS or FEDEX with extra insurance, you need to let me know BEFORE I send your invoice so I can account for the additional charges. 

Rush Orders

       I can accommodate rush orders, BUT depending on how soon you will need the order shipped and how large it is, there will be an additional fee. If you let me know at the time of the order, I will do my very best to accommodate you, however rush orders at Christmastime will almost be impossible, so I would suggest placing the order as soon as you can. 
Sizing

      If you need to have custom sizing done, this is something you need to let me know at the time of your order, and BEFORE you pay the invoice, again part of making sure you check your detailed invoice before payment. Custom sizing would include if your horse has a smaller or larger head than average, belt sizing and dog collars. I will also instruct you on obtaining correct sizing as needed, so please make sure to ask for custom sizing! Again, if this is not specified at time of order and it is received with incorrect sizing, you will be charged for my remaking the item with the correct sizing. 

 

Returns & refunds are not accepted on custom orders- NO EXCEPTIONS.

     Cancellations on custom orders are not accepted, however I can use it as a "credit" towards another order as long as it has not been started yet. Credit transfers could delay the turnaround time for your order, but we can discuss that at the time. Changes to order details and/or size after the order is placed will result in 20% additional fee, if I have already started your order to a point of no adjustment, BEFORE you contacted me, I cannot go back and change the item and a return/refund will not be accepted. 
     Refunds on all in-stock inventory items can be accepted within 14 days of arrival to you; according to the date provided by USPS tracking services. Item MUST be in new condition, as in not used on any animal or person, with tags still in tact. You must provide me with a tracking number at time of return when you shipped. Once I Received your item, I will issue a refund of what you paid. If you sent me back an item for return, and it shows any sign of wear or usage on any animal or person, I will not grant the refund and I will send back to you as purchased.
